Daikin Europe is seeking an Information Security Officer to roll out and enforce our Information Security Program across the EMEA Development Centre. You will identify, evaluate, and report on legal, IT, and cybersecurity risks to information assets, and ensure systems comply with internal and contractual requirements.

A key focus is guiding IoT product development to meet NIS2, CRA, RED DA and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Economics, Engineering, Law or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar Information Security role, ideally within IoT-focused companies.
• Familiarity with RED DA, NIS2 and ISO27001 is a strong asset.

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Program within the EDC.
• Assist development teams in aligning IoT product development with NIS2, CRA, RED DA and internal policies.
• Adapt information security policies to the EMEA Development Center with the central Information Security Team.

As anInformation Security Officer, you will play a key role in further rolling out and applying our Information Security Program across the EMEA Development Centre (EDC). You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and reporting on legal, IT, and cybersecurity risks to information assets, and for ensuring that our systems and processes are secure and compliant with legal, internal, and contractual requirements. A significant part of your role will involvesupporting development teamsto ensure that ourIoT products and development processes comply with applicable legislation, includingNIS2, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and Radio Equipment Directive Delegated Act (RED DA), as well as internal information security policies.

You will be supported by your EDC colleagues and collaborate closely with the central Information Security Team. The exact scope of responsibilities will be tailored to your experience and skill set.

After an introduction to the company, the EDC organization, and our current IT architecture, your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Program within the EDC.
• Assisting development teams in aligning IoT product development and processes with NIS2, CRA, RED DA, and internal security policies.
• Adapting and applying information security policies and development guidelines to the EMEA Development Center, in cooperation with the central Information Security Team.
• Contributing to the creation and management of targeted information security awareness and training programs for employees, contractors, and development partners.

We expect you to stay up to date with the latest IT and cybersecurity technologies, with a particular focus on IoT security and regulatory compliance

Profile description:
