TUI is seeking an operations expert to optimize inflight service operations across a pan-European network. The role focuses on managing third-party contracted services, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring top-tier operational excellence.

You’ll work in a hybrid model with 2–3 days in the office and occasional airport visits, joining a diverse, pan-European team. The ideal candidate has a track record in aviation operations or catering coordination, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or aviation required.
  • Experience coordinating complex operations with service partners.
  • Willingness to join an on-call rotation (24/7 on a 3–4 week cycle).
  • Category B driving licence is essential.

Responsabilités

  • Manage third-party contracted services to ensure quality, safety and operational excellence.
  • Drive operational cost efficiencies and achieve KPI and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Oversee local supply chain operations and ensure delivery of goods; handle short-notice requirements.
  • Support service, product, and seasonal changes to keep offerings aligned with customer needs.
  • Travel may be required to test onboard catering processes and support ad-hoc flights.
  • Conduct monitoring: visit aircraft and service suppliers, review SLAs and implement corrective actions.

This position is offered on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract and will require a successful background security check. This position is offered on a hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week in the office, plus airport visits as needed.

About The Job

  • Conducting monitoring activities is essential - you'll visit aircraft and service suppliers, review SLAs, and implement corrective actions when needed.
About You
  • Proven experience in supply chain coordination, aviation operations, or catering and product management is what we're looking for.
  • Experience coordinating complex operations is important - you'll maintain effective monitoring procedures, anticipate problems, and work with service partners to resolve issues before they impact performance.
  • You embrace new technologies, think in a data-driven way, and actively seek opportunities to improve and innovate operational processes.
  • A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in logistics or aviation.
  • You'll form part of our on-call team, so 24/7 availability on a 3-4 week cycle is necessary.
  • Holding a category B driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Composure under pressure defines your approach- you respond efficiently to complex challenges or crises.
  • Cultural sensitivity matters here, especially if you've worked as part of a pan-European team and with worldwide service suppliers.
  • You're fluent in English and Dutch, with French being a valuable addition. Additional language skills and cultural awareness are always welcome.
