TUI Cruises GmbH is seeking a Crewing Officer to manage flight and cabin crew schedules, ensuring smooth operations 72 hours before departures. This role involves coordinating with Belgium, the UK, and the Netherlands, and working shifts around the clock to support operations.

You will monitor live operations, maintain the crew system, and liaise with travel teams for accommodation and transport when rosters change.

Qualifications

  • Higher education or equivalent through experience.
  • Logistics, planning or similar experience is valued.
  • Creative problem solver who can stay calm under pressure.

  • Manage flight and cabin crew schedules for critical 72 hours before departure.
  • Coordinate daily briefing for Belgium and Netherlands with UK Operational Control Centre.
  • Oversee live flying operations to avoid disruption and maintain safety and cost controls.
  • Maintain accurate Crew management system data for clear overview of crew.
  • Collaborate with Crew Travel teams on hotels and transport when rosters change.

Our Crewing Officers work a combination of shifts covering 24/7 and this means you get a real opportunity to manage your work/life balance. During your down time you could be taking advantage of our great travel discounts to visit new destinations.
Your language skills in Dutch, English and ideally French will be key as you will also work closely with your Crewing colleagues in Belgium and the UK.

ABOUT THE JOB
  • Work to achieve the best solution in response to required operational changes in the flying programme maintaining minimal impact on crew and customers and considering cost and safety aspects
  • Periodically undertake the daily briefing on behalf of the Crewing Departments for Belgium and Netherlands with our Operational Control Centre in the UK
  • Maintain a close oversight of the live flying operation ensuring any changes are observed and promptly actioned to avoid disruption
  • Ensure the Crew management system is maintained accurately so that the Flight Operations management has a clear overview of the crew at all times
  • Work with the Crew Travel teams to ensure any adjustments are made for crew hotels and transport where rostered plans are changed
ABOUT YOU
  • You have a higher education or equivalent through experience
  • Logistics, planning or similar experience is highly regarded
  • You’re a creative problem solver, you can think on your feet and keep a clear head under pressure
  • You are adaptable and flexible and once the plan is set you are a great priority setter and finisher
  • You’ve got a great eye for detail, like to plan and work accurately. You understand the impact of not getting things right
  • You’re a great communicator and understand the importance of building relationships with your local and international colleagues
  • You are eager to learn, quite curious and love to continuously learn
  • You’re happy to work shifts (day – night) and weekends because this results in really flexible free time around your work
  • You are very comfortable with Dutch and English languages (both verbally and in writing) and ideally have a good level of French as well.
