Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Digital Icon Artist / Illustrator to join our internal product design team and help develop clear, polished icons and UI artwork for our engineering software. You will work with a globally distributed UX team to translate complex concepts into intuitive visuals.

We value traditional art, 3D modeling, and strong English communication. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Blender is important as you create consistent assets across

Qualifications

• Validated experience in traditional art, illustration, and 3D modeling.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craftsmanship and iconography.
• Problem-solving through ideation with sketches and renderings.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
• Experience with Blender or a similar 3D tool.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilités

• Create polished 2D and 3D icons, glyphs, technical drawings, and UI artwork for engineering software.
• Translate technical concepts into intuitive, visually clear icons and artwork.
• Apply established visual systems to produce consistent, high-quality design assets.
• Gather requirements from product teams and stakeholders to understand needs.
• Collaborate across engineering, design, QA, field teams, and documentation writers.
• Present design rationale clearly and incorporate feedback.
