Johnson & Johnson in Ghent is seeking an Industrial IT Systems Engineer to own and optimize the ISA-95 Level 1 & 2 Industrial IT landscape across Gent sites. You will work with engineering, IT, QA and vendors to keep applications stable, secure and compliant and to bring new systems into daily operation.

You will collaborate across teams, apply structured execution and hands-on problem solving, ensuring ongoing system health and readiness for changes and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electromechanics, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or CS with Industrial IT affinity.
• Typically 3+ years in Industrial IT, automation, or manufacturing IT.

Responsabilités

• Own and operate Industrial IT applications, ensuring stability, compliance and reliability.
• Diagnose issues and implement improvements to boost performance and availability.
• Participate in rotating weekend on-call to safeguard system continuity.
• Coordinate lifecycle activities: configuration, monitoring, documentation, user mgmt, patching, backup, recovery.
• Coordinate with IT, engineering, and vendors on upgrades and new applications.
• Plan commissioning, testing, validation, and readiness for new systems.
• Contribute to deviations, CAPAs, investigations, audits and continuous improvement.
