Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Industrial IT Systems Engineer to own and improve ISA‑95 Level 1 & 2 industrial IT applications across Ghent sites. You will work with IT, engineering, QA, cybersecurity and vendors to maintain a reliable, future‑proof Industrial IT landscape.

The role emphasizes system stability, security, compliance and continuous improvement with concrete ownership from day one. Recent graduates are welcome to apply, with English proficiency required and Dutch preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electromechanics, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with Industrial IT affinity.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; internships/thesis/projects can demonstrate foundation.

Responsabilités

• Own Industrial IT applications and ensure stable, compliant operations.
• Diagnose issues and implement improvements for performance and availability.
• Participate in rotating weekend on‑call service to safeguard system continuity.
• Coordinate with IT, engineering and vendors on upgrades and deployments.
• Plan commissioning, testing and validation for new or updated systems.
