Job summary

Westelec, part of the ATS group, is seeking an industrial electrician for its Ypres subsidiary to install, connect, and maintain electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings. You will work on diverse projects and, with colleagues, ensure high-quality and safe installations.

The ideal candidate has training in industrial electricity or equivalent experience, with knowledge of reading electrical diagrams and a collaborative, safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• Completed an industrial electricity program or has equivalent experience.
• Experience in industrial or commercial electricity sector.
• Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Detail-oriented, safety-focused and committed to quality.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Willing to travel to different job sites; driving licence B.
• Knowledge of French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire distribution panels and electrical systems.
• Pull cables and install cable trays, conduits, and pipes.
• Install lighting systems according to technical drawings.
• Read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Connect motors, control circuits, and other electrical components.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on existing installations.
• Detect and troubleshoot electrical faults.
• Work in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Accurately report the work performed to the site manager or project manager.

We are looking for an industrial electrician for our subsidiary, Westelec, in Ypres.

Function

As an industrial electrician, you are responsible for installing, connecting, and maintaining electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings. You will work on a variety of projects and, together with your colleagues, help ensure high-quality and safe installations.

Your duties and responsibilities

• Installing and wiring distribution panels and electrical systems.
• Pulling cables and installing cable trays, conduits, and pipes.
• Installing lighting systems according to technical drawings.
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Connecting motors, control circuits, and other electrical components.
• Performing maintenance and repair work on existing installations.
• Detecting and troubleshooting electrical faults.
• Working in accordance with applicable safety regulations and quality standards.

Profile

• You have completed a program in industrial electricity or have equivalent experience.
