Job summary

argenx in Ghent, Belgium is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Legal team and support the rapid growth of our business. The role will provide broad paralegal support across corporate governance, litigation, insurance, and business development activities, working closely with attorneys, business partners, and external counsel.

The position will play an important role in maintaining the legal infrastructure of a fast-growing global organization, and helping the Legal team operate

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate, bachelor’s degree in law, or equivalent qualification/experience (license not required).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant paralegal experience, ideally in a multinational life sciences or regulated industry.
• Experience supporting corporate governance, litigation, insurance, or in-house legal functions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an operational partner enabling the Legal team to deliver timely risk-based support.
• Maintain corporate records and support filings across the argenx group.
• Coordinate with local service providers, notaries, and advisors for governance matters.
• Support subsidiary governance: board/shareholder resolutions, director records, powers of attorney.
• Support litigation, investigations, and information requests with proper documentation.
• Assist with administration of the company’s insurance portfolio and renewals.
• Provide project coordination and support for business development transactions.
