Aviato in België zoekt een Air Import Agent om luchtvracht tijdig te coördineren en uitstekende klantenservice te bieden. Je zorgt voor een soepele voortgang van het proces en administratieve afhandeling.

Vereisten: 2–3 jaar ervaring in luchtvracht (import), proactief, georganiseerd, en sterke Excel/Word-vaardigheden. Goede kennis van Engels en Nederlands. IATA-certificering is een plus. Marktconform salaris 2800–3400 EUR bruto/maand, plus 52 uur training per jaar.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in air freight (import)
• Proactive attitude and well-developed organizational skills
• Good knowledge of Excel and Word; air freight/logistics experience is a plus
• Very good knowledge of English and Dutch
• IATA certification is a plus
• A positive mindset, problem-solving ability and sense of humor

Responsabilités

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
• Track and trace Air Import files; internal or external via airline sites or by telephone
• Use Tree View on daily basis
• Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for import shipments
• Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing
• Interact with customers arranging international shipments and meet service standards
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking companies, etc.)
• Meet compliance with regulations
• Understand department processes and seek efficiency improvements
• Follow and update customers' SOPs in the DLSOP
• Overseas communications and timely email responses
• Meet company standard of 52 training hours per year
• Promote compliance with company policies with integrity and pride

As an Air Import Agent, you are responsible for smoothly and timely coordinating air freight and providing excellent customer service.You ensure that everything, from freight transportation to administrative processing, runs seamlessly.

As an Air Import Agent, you engage in the following activities:

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Track and trace Air Import files as required. This can be either internally via exp.o or externally via airline websites or by telephone to

  airline offices.

• Use Tree View on daily basis.
• Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments.
• Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
• Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
• Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking companies, and others).
• Meet compliance at all times to regulations.
• Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the DLSOP.
• Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
• Meets company standards of 52 hours training per year per employee.
• Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding

  integrity and pride.

Profiel

The Air Import Agent we're looking for:

• 2- 3 years of experience withing air freight (import specifically)
• Proactive attitude and well-developed organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel and Word; experience in air freight/logistics is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of English AND Dutch
• IATA certification is a plus.
• A positive mindset, problem-solving ability, and a good sense of humor.
