Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
• Practical knowledge of embedded software development using C, C++, or Rust
• Understanding of OS internals, RTOS, embedded architectures, and Linux development environments
• Familiarity with software design principles, OO design, and modeling; Python scripting is a plus
• From entry-level to several years of embedded software engineering experience
• Strong analytical and curious mindset with continuous improvement
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and evolve embedded software platforms across Atlas Copco product lines
• Develop low-level components in C, C++, or Rust in Linux-based environments
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement preventive actions
• Participate in architecture reviews, maintain technical specs, and support releases
• Work in a hybrid model from the Wilrijk facility
