A family-owned lighting company in Belgium is seeking a Development Engineer to translate product requirements into technical specifications and collaborate on electro-mechanical designs. Candidates should possess an Engineering Master Degree, 3-7 years of experience, and strong skills in Solidworks and New Product Development. Responsabilités

• Translate product requirements into technical specifications.
• Create electro-mechanical concepts and designs in collaboration with the Mechanical Designer.
• Responsible for technical data creation and maintenance of products after release.

Connaissances

Engineering Master Degree (mechanical, electromechanical, …)

At least 3 – 7 years of relevant experience

Languages: English (B2) + local language (willing to learn French)

Electro-mechanical good knowledge

Design For Manufacturing experience

Good knowledge of New Product Development Process

Good knowledge of PLM

Very good knowledge of Solidworks

FEA knowledge

Solution driven and customer oriented

Technical Project Management knowledge
