Job summary

Spektrum, Brussels, is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Researcher to support NATO NCIA. The role focuses on researching threat actors’ tactics, techniques and procedures to provide actionable intelligence for network defenders and decision-makers.

The position requires a university degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience, proficiency in Python, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work arrangement, some travel to NATO sites may be required.

Qualifications

• University degree with substantial CS content and 2+ years of related experience OR 4+ years of similar tasks and certificates.
• Experience creating threat intelligence products, detections, and indicators of compromise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver cyber threat intelligence to NATO stakeholders.
• Translate CTI into actionable intelligence for network defenders and decision makers.
• Create scripts to track threat actor infrastructure using open-source tools.
• Produce CTI products, detection signatures, and MTs for operational use.
• Collaborate with CTAB and other analysts to enhance threat visibility.
