Job summary

Salve.Lab in Belgium is seeking an experienced HVAC Solutions Designer to develop energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions for smart buildings and critical infrastructure.

You will combine technical design, commercial support and collaboration with sales teams to translate complex requirements into practical, sustainable designs and build automation integrations across Belgium and Luxembourg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, electromechanics or related field.
• 3+ years in HVAC or building tech environment.
• Experience as a Solution Designer is a strong advantage.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC principles, sizing and system integration.
• Familiarity with BMS and building automation.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus or KNX.
• Experience with technical-commercial documentation and quotations.
• Ability to read and create drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools.
• Understanding of energy-efficient technologies and modern performance standards.
• Strong communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel across Belgium (Flanders/Brussels).

Responsibilities

• Design integrated HVAC and building automation solutions.
• Translate requirements into technically sound, energy-efficient designs.
• Provide technical advice and respond to detailed HVAC questions.
• Develop technical designs, configurations and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations and project docs.
• Collaborate with sales during meetings and product demonstrations.
• Recommend technologies to improve building performance and energy efficiency.
• Support integration with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Prepare drawings, schematics and system specifications.
• Evaluate requirements for optimal equipment sizing and control strategies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet technical and commercial goals.
• Contribute to competitive proposals for smart building projects.
• Travel to customer sites across Belgium as needed.
