Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and continuously improve the health and safety management system.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian health and safety legislation and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and compliance checks.
• Review and monitor risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Provide health and safety guidance and support to project managers, site supervisors, contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor site activities to ensure safe working practices.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, implementing corrective actions.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Track health and safety performance, maintain documentation and report on key safety metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety standards and reduce workplace risks.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across all project activities.
