Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Spa, Belgium, seeks a Banquet House Attendant to support the banquet department and assist in setup and takedown for banquet and meeting events at our Spa property.

You will set up, clean and maintain meeting and banquet rooms, handle equipment, and work closely with Banquet Servers to ensure guest satisfaction. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience and/or experience in housekeeping/janitorial work preferred.
• The ideal candidate will be organized and self-motivated.
• Strong work ethic, ability to read floorplans, work independently and has a strong attention to detail.
• This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Banquet House Attendant plays a crucial role in the success of events by providing assistance to the banquet department and assisting in the setup and takedown of banquet and meeting events.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Set-up, clean and maintain meeting and banquet rooms following the standards of service as set by hotel management.
• Responsible for the proper cleaning and setting of banquet functions and meeting rooms.
• Care and storage of all equipment such as tables and chairs.
• Servicing meeting rooms.
• Work closely with the Banquet Servers to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Provide outstanding service.

Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Specific Experience We’re Seeking

Salary range: $8.00 USD - $10.00 USD per hour, plus gratuities.
