NISH Tech BV is seeking a Technical Designer – Substation to support high-voltage infrastructure projects for Elia Belgium. The role involves preparing technical drawings, plans, and supporting documentation during preliminary and study phases of new HV installations and modifications to existing ones.

You will collaborate with Project Leaders, Project Engineers, designers, and external partners, coordinating with Powerlinks and Civil Works. Strong HV design and 3D CAD skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical engineering fundamentals and high‑voltage/substation design knowledge.
• Proficient with 3D CAD and technical drawing practices.
• Experience with engineering documentation and formal project planning.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to perform design studies with attention to quality control.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Project Engineer with feasibility and preliminary studies.
• Independently execute design studies according to project requirements.
• Prepare all plans and documentation required for project execution.
• Apply problem-solving and proactive approaches to design challenges.
• Ensure design quality by using approved equipment and following standards.
• Coordinate interfaces between design and other engineering disciplines.
• Manage study planning and report progress to management.
• Collaborate with external offices and monitor deliverable quality.
