David Lloyd Leisure Sterrebeek is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join Europe’s leading premium health and wellness group. You will regularly act as Duty Manager, ensuring smooth club operations and uncompromising adherence to health and safety regulations.

You will lead a team, train staff to company standards and manage self-employed contractors, ensuring maintenance and safety compliance, while promoting an inclusive culture where colleagues and members thrive.

Qualifications

• IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Facilities management qualification (HND, Diploma, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Experience maintaining and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience managing a team in a service-led facility.

Responsabilités

• Act as Duty Manager and ensure smooth club operation.
• Oversee health and safety compliance and regulations.
• Lead and train a team, including contractors.
• Manage self-employed contractors on site.
• Foster inclusive culture with a focus on customer service.

As Health and Safety Manager you will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking accountability for ensuring the smooth operation of the club and ensuring day to day health & safety and compliance regulations are adhered to. You will lead a team and ensure all are trained in line with company expectations as well as manage a team of self-employed contactors. About you:

• Has an IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant, recognised H&S qualification
• Relevant Facilities Management Qualification (HND, Diploma etc)
• Strong understanding and experience of Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in managing the maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
• Experience in managing a team in a service led facility(e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
• Passionate about customer service.
