CHEP's Bornem Manufacturing Plant is seeking a Dutch-speaking Health & Safety Lead to champion our Zero Harm philosophy and ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and internal standards.

You will lead HSE management systems, audits and corrective actions, advise plant leadership on regulatory updates, oversee emergency protocols, and drive a proactive safety culture through learning teams and well-being programs across the network.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and able to communicate across functions.
• Strong knowledge of local HSE laws and regulations.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive safety initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Lead and maintain HSE management systems, audits, and corrective actions.
• Advise plant leadership on regulatory updates and ensure alignment with Absolute Safety First Rules.
• Oversee emergency protocols and day-to-day HSE operations, driving performance and compliance.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership, Learning Teams, and Safety Differently practices.
• Lead incident investigations, share lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement across the network.
• Monitor training and competency development through skills matrices and proactive plans.
• Champion wellbeing initiatives including safety week and occupational health programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain HSE management systems, audits, and corrective actions.
• Advise plant leadership on regulatory updates and ensure alignment with Brambles’ Absolute Safety First Rules.
• Oversee emergency protocols and day-to-day HSE operations, driving performance and compliance.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership, Learning Teams, and Safety Differently practices.
• Lead incident investigations, share lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement across the network.
• Monitor training and competency development through skills matrices and proactive plans.

What You’ll need

• Dutch Language
