Role Overview

The Head of Regulatory Reporting in Finance will lead the end‑to‑end regulatory reporting for Swift, ensuring compliance with the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) obligations while supporting capital, liquidity, recovery planning, and orderly wind‑down initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, own and coordinate end‑to‑end regulatory reporting within Finance, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely submission to the NBB.
• Oversee and deliver key finance‑related regulatory compliance requirements, including capital and liquidity assessment, financial recovery planning, orderly wind‑down planning, and capital call plans.
• Ensure regulatory deliverables are aligned with internal financial governance, risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.
• Act as the primary finance point of contact for ongoing engagement with the NBB.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of regulatory materials, including explanations of internal processes and frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance regulatory reporting frameworks, methodologies, and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits, supervisory reviews, and regulatory inspections related to financial and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments and drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Significant experience in regulatory reporting and financial regulation within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of finance‑related regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with regulators (preferably the NBB or equivalent authorities).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple regulatory priorities and deadlines.
