Mozzeno is seeking a Head of IT to shape and grow its engineering organization as we scale our fintech platform. This leadership role emphasizes people development, collaboration with product, and delivering on business ambitions rather than hands-on coding.

You will mentor engineers and data scientists, own the technical roadmap, drive agile practices, and ensure secure, scalable infrastructure in a fast-paced startup environment outside Brussels.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering or cross-functional teams with a track record of coaching and growing skills.
• Lead technical projects end-to-end and drive delivery across infrastructure, platforms, and security.
• Proven ability to design and refine agile/lean processes to improve delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting plans and blockers to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Organised and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining focus.

Responsabilités

• Team leadership & coaching: mentor developers and data scientists, foster continuous learning.
• Technical project leadership: own delivery of platforms, security, tooling, and cross-cutting initiatives.
• Recruitment & onboarding: lead hiring for engineers and data/AI specialists; design onboarding.
• Process refinement: shape agile practices and trial AI-assisted coding or automation to boost efficiency.
• Visibility & communication: report progress, risks, and resource needs to stakeholders.
