iBanFirst is seeking a Head of Internal Audit to lead our governance, risk management and internal control framework across Europe. You will own the audit plan, oversee outsourced IT audits, and report findings to senior governance bodies, collaborating with external auditors and regulators where needed.

Based in Paris or Brussels, you will drive a high-impact, autonomous function, deliver credible assurance and support the company’s international growth with a strong control environment.

Qualifications

• Fully autonomous and self-directed; own the audit agenda.
• Able to work independently across geographies and functions.
• Excellent written English and credible governance presentation.
• Strong audit reporting and remediation tracking skills.
• Proactive, transparent communicator with rigorous follow-through.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the internal audit function and act as the Third Line of Defence.
• Develop and annually review a risk-based internal audit plan across the Group.
• Oversee outsourced IT internal audits and track remediation progress.
• Present audit results and remediation progress to senior management and the Board.
• Collaborate with external auditors and the National Bank of Belgium when required.
• Establish a scalable framework supporting international growth.
