Job summary

Loop is seeking a Manager, Embedded Software Engineering to lead firmware development across our product portfolio. Antwerp or Amsterdam-based, you will grow engineers, set standards, and ensure on-time, high-quality releases.

You’ll own firmware architecture, delivery, and release readiness, collaborating with hardware, QA, and manufacturing to ship scalable, secure firmware across connected devices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in embedded software development with hands-on product delivery.
• 2+ years managing embedded or firmware engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of embedded software engineers.
• Own firmware delivery across development and sustaining work.
• Line manage the growing team directly, hands-on when needed.
• Drive cross-system decisions with Engineering, Quality, and manufacturing.
• Lead architecture and design reviews that align with roadmap.
