Robert Half Talent Solutions is seeking a Head of Compliance (m/f/x) for a permanent role based in Brussels. You will design, implement and oversee the compliance framework for the Belgian entity within a leading international insurance group.

You will lead the compliance function, manage regulatory interactions, and drive a risk-based agenda with the Board and management while fostering a strong compliance culture across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Auditing or related discipline.
• Certified compliance officer for the insurance sector (preferred)
• 8+ years of relevant Compliance experience in regulated financial services.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and oversee the compliance framework for the Belgian insurance entity.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise management and Board on implications.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear internal policies and procedures.
• Establish and maintain a robust compliance risk assessment framework.
• Develop and execute an annual risk-based compliance plan.
• Monitor adherence to policy and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to management and regulators.
• Coordinate regulatory interactions with authorities and oversight bodies.
• Advise on compliance implications of strategic initiatives and projects.
• Promote a strong compliance culture through awareness and training.
• Manage whistleblowing alerts and follow-up.
• Develop the function combining strategy with hands-on execution.
• Ensure alignment with Group compliance standards and reporting.
