This role is designed for someone who combines commercial acumen with a strong grasp of the defence ecosystem. Responsibilities
  • Define and implement a growth strategy for the European defence market
  • Build, nurture, and expand high-level relationships across government departments, procurement agencies, military stakeholders, and prime contractors
  • Lead negotiations for large-scale defence contracts and framework agreements
  • Ensure close coordination with production, R&D, and testing teams to meet customer requirements, including during military trials
  • Represent the organisation at defence exhibitions, industry events, and international forums
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory updates to shape business development strategy

  • Strong understanding of the defence ecosystem and government procurement procedures
