Vandemoortele in Izegem, Belgium, seeks a Group Project Engineer to lead end-to-end design, engineering and execution of capital projects across the group. You will coordinate with operations, quality, maintenance, procurement and HSE, and act as a technical authority throughout the project lifecycle.

You hold a master’s degree in engineering and have 3+ years of experience managing greenfield and/or brownfield projects in a food/beverage context.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of project management experience.
• Experience in greenfield or brownfield capital projects in food/beverage is preferred.
• Knowledge of hygienic design, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead the end-to-end design, engineering and execution of capital projects.
• Define technical specifications, equipment selection, layouts, PFDs and basic P&IDs.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners throughout project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, safety and local regulations.
• Drive optimization, energy efficiency and digital manufacturing initiatives.
