Addactis Group is seeking a Group Accounting Manager to lead and harmonize accounting across seven international entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will guide closing processes, oversee consolidation under IFRS, manage internal controls, and act as the interface with auditors. The role combines technical accounting excellence with people leadership and digital transformation initiatives, including Odoo rollout and AI-enabled reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in accounting or external audit.
• Big4 or leading audit/advisory experience is a strong asset.
• Solid understanding of BE GAAP, IFRS, consolidation principles, intercompany accounting.
• Extensive people management experience with coaching and development.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-level communication.
• Experience improving operational processes and driving continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel abroad (France) and office presence 50–60%.

Responsabilités

• Report to the Finance Director and collaborate with Group Controller.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, consistency, and compliance of the Group’s accounting activities across multiple international entities. Acting as a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, You will combine technical accounting expertise with people leadership, business partnering, and process optimization to support the continued growth of the organization.

• You oversee the accounting activities across 7 international legal entities ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• You supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including local GAAP to IFRS reporting requirements, incl. quarterly transfer pricing settlements.
• You take ownership of the Group’s accounting standards, internal controls, accounting policies and data integrity processes, ensuring an appropriate governance framework within a fast-growing international environment.
• You act as the primary point of contact for statutory and Group auditors and coordinate the audit process across all legal entities.
• You drive the continuous optimization of financial systems and processes, including the further rollout and enhancement of Odoo and the effective use of reporting tools, automation technologies and AI-based solutions.
• You act as a true business partner to the wider organization, supporting departments and stakeholders enabling business growth.
• You lead, coach, and develop an international team of 4 accountants located across different countries and offices. You actively contribute to a collaborative, transparent, and people-oriented culture built on trust, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• You actively contribute to ongoing and future projects, aimed to make cross-departmental processes, systems and governance more efficient and agile.
• You report directly to the Finance Director and work closely together with the Group Controller and other stakeholders across the organization.

Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• You have approximately 6 to 12 years of relevant experience within accounting or external audit.
• Experience within a Big4 or leading audit and advisory organisation is considered a strong asset.
• You possess a solid understanding of BE GAAP, IFRS, consolidation principles, intercompany accounting preferably within an international group structure.
• Extensive people management experience, you enjoy coaching, mentoring, and developing your team.
• You combine strong technical accounting expertise with a pragmatic, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different organizational levels.
• Demonstrated experience improving operational processes and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment where adaptability and resilience are essential.
• Affinity with digital transformation, AI tools and process automation is considered a plus.
• You can occasionally travel abroad (mainly France) if needed and enjoy coming to the office (50-60% of time at the office).
• Fluency in French and English are required. Dutch and/or Spanish are considered a strong asset.
