Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Technical Sales Engineer with expertise in Grid Automation to drive customer success and quote preparation. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and leveraging Salesforce, tendering, and configuration tools.

You will engage with customers, translate technical requirements into compelling offers, and manage the full lifecycle of the sales process for both new business and service contracts. Proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Sales Engineer in Grid Automation (5+ years)
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electro/energy technology or equivalent experience in a technical (or technical sales) role
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch and French are a plus
• Engineering, commercial, organizational, communication and account management skills
• Ability to quickly establish customer relationships and trust and to provide an outstanding customer experience

Responsabilités

• Organize regular customer meetings and provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Advocate for the customer and communicate feedback to/from global technical teams
• Translate technical inspection data into detailed quotations
• Prepare quotations and calculations for new business, service, and SLA considerations
• Ensure preparation of technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions
• Research customer technical specs and align with company product specs
• Develop potential technical specs, pricing considerations and contract requirements
• Use internal Hitachi Energy tools like Salesforce, tendering and configuration tools
• Manage and own all aspects of customer success and satisfaction
• Identify training needs and participate in Hitachi Energy training programs
