Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking an Information Security GRC Consultant to help clients build robust control programs, meet compliance, and strengthen security posture. You will lead engagements and deliver practical, business-aligned GRC solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with 3–5 years of experience.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
• Familiar with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001.
• Experience with GRC tools and IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Ability to translate complex risks into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead maturity assessments of GRC programs and deliver actionable insights.
• Design and implement comprehensive GRC strategies.
• Develop and execute policies, procedures, and controls to manage IT and information security risks.
• Establish and monitor robust IT and information security risk management programs.
• Oversee third-party risk management initiatives to ensure security and compliance.
• Set up security awareness campaigns.
• Monitor cyber regulations like DORA and NIS2.
• Collaborate on strategic exercises to elevate GRC maturity.
