Job summary

Harvey Nash in Belgium is seeking an experienced Risk & Controls Consultant to support a focused assignment across internal controls, issue and risk-event management, attestations and audit support in Belgium. This hands-on role requires taking ownership from day one and working independently.

You will strengthen the risk/control framework, manage issues and remediation, coordinate with risk management, and deliver clear risk reporting for stakeholders across finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in risk, internal controls, operational risk or control assurance.
• Experience with issue management, remediation tracking and risk events.
• Experience supporting audits and control attestations.
• Ability to translate risk or assurance feedback into clear business actions.
• Strong stakeholder management and attention to detail.
• A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge incomplete information or unclear ownership.
• Ability to work independently and drive activities through to completion.
• Experience with ServiceNow IRM/GRC is an advantage.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can quickly understand the existing environment, take ownership and operate independently from day one.

What you'll be doing
