UCB seeks a DSP Bio DS Operations Quality Specialist to ensure quality oversight of Downstream manufacturing operations at the Braine l’Alleud, Belgium site. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, MSAT, and QA to support inspections, deviations, CAPA, and batch release while maintaining compliance.

This role requires strong knowledge of cGMP and quality systems, with excellent communication and stakeholder management. On-site presence is required in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacist or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluent English & French communication (oral and written).
• Knowledge of Downstream processing and cGMP environments.
• Experience in Quality Systems (Deviations, CAPA, Change Control, Risk Management).
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and data-based decision making.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven capacity to thrive in demanding and high-pressure environments.
• On-site presence required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure DSP quality compliance through GMP documentation review and approvals.
• Perform and provide support to batch record review and release.
• Provide QA presence on the shop floor for GMP oversight.
• Review deviations, corrective and preventative actions, and change controls.
• Escalate quality problems to management following the QMS standards.
• Assist in site audits and inspection readiness programs.
