UCB in Belgium seeks an experienced Media, Buffer & Logistics (MBL) Bio DS Operations Quality Manager to oversee quality for media, buffer prep, storage, and local logistics at the Braine campus. Lead the MBL Quality Operations team through launch, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and QA systems, while building cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, master’s degree or education in a relevant scientific discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven experience in logistics within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Fluent English & French communication (oral and written).
Prior people management experience is a strong asset.
Experience with SAP and understanding of its functionalities.
On-site presence required, ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes.
Demonstrated experience in audit and inspection.

Responsabilités

Build, lead and manage the MBL Quality Operations team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Ensure day-to-day quality oversight of operations by GMP Facilitators and QA peers.
Oversee deviations, CAPA, batch review, and change control processes.
Release MB manufacturing batch documentation and ensure regulatory readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Manufacturing, MSAT, QA Support, Regulatory).
Lead quality governance and support new product introductions in MBL production.
Drive continuous improvement and inspector readiness for the site.
