UCB is seeking a Corporate Treasury & Funding Lead to join the Treasury and Insurance team at our Brussels headquarters. The role is strategic yet hands-on, collaborating with Finance, Legal and business partners to shape and maintain global funding capabilities and manage treasury activities.

You will lead funding and liability management initiatives, support capital structure decisions, and provide governance and reporting across international affiliates.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, economics, business, law or a related discipline.
• Proactive, self-driven mindset with ownership and drive.
• Extensive international corporate treasury, funding and debt documentation experience.
• Strong knowledge of debt capital and loan markets, instruments and derivatives.
• Experience negotiating complex financing documents and treasury agreements.
• Experience identifying exposures and developing hedging strategies.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and enhance strategic funding frameworks and related documentation across debt capital markets, loan markets and other financing platforms, ensuring continued financing flexibility.
• Lead or support major funding, refinancing, liability management and working capital transactions, including structuring, execution and negotiation of financing arrangements and related treasury arrangements.
• Support capital structure decisions and engagement with external stakeholders.
• Contribute treasury expertise to M&A, business development, corporate finance, treasury projects and other strategic initiatives.
• Advise on financial risk management matters and develop hedging recommendations.
• Support treasury activities across international affiliates, including capital structures, banking arrangements and intercompany financing.
• Oversee treasury controlling activities, including financial results, cash flow forecasting and governance support.
