Umicore is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Operations Director to lead the regional teams across EMEA, North America and APAC. You will ensure consistent export controls, sanctions and customs execution, blending local regulatory knowledge with global standards.

Based in Brussels or Hoboken, you will drive KPIs, align with the Global Export Controls and Sanctions and Global Customs teams, and translate strategy into practical regional actions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading trade compliance operations in a multinational environment.
• Strong coordination skills across regions and countries.
• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Law, or related field.
• Ability to translate strategy into operational execution.
• Analytical thinker with clear insights and recommendations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Lead Global Trade Compliance Operations across EMEA, North America, and APAC.
• Oversee export controls, sanctions, and customs activities regionally.
• Translate priorities into operational plans and ensure alignment with global standards.
• Coordinate cross-regional topics: audits, licence renewals, regulatory changes.
• Monitor KPIs on audit readiness, licences, screening, and compliance execution.
