Vesuvius is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist/Demand Planning Expert based in Ostend, Belgium. You will oversee production mix scheduling, material requirements, and stock levels while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure a cost-efficient and reliable supply chain.

The role involves managing three direct reports and driving continuous improvement in planning processes, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, governance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Master’s degree in a business-related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain or logistics in an industrial environment.
• Fluent in English; Dutch basic knowledge.
• Experience with international stakeholders and SAP.

Responsabilités

• Forecast consignment stocks and warehouse capacity.
• Schedule production mix based on SR and TC and convert plans to raw-material requirements in MRP.
• Manage stock of raw materials and semi-finished goods and back-up shipping/logistics.
• Supervise three direct reports (2 shipping coordinators, 1 raw material scheduler).
• Improve demand planning and ensure timely delivery of materials.
