Job summary

BioFirst Group in Belgium is seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Officer to manage regulatory activities for its biopesticide and biostimulant portfolio across markets. You will oversee labels, registrations, and third-party obligations, reporting to the Global Product Manager Biopesticides & Biostimulants.

The role requires a scientific degree, 2–4 years in regulatory/compliance, strong attention to detail, multi-country coordination, and fluency in English with Dutch or French as an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field is required.
• 2-4 years of regulatory/compliance experience in crop protection or related sectors.
• Hands-on experience with labels, dossiers, and product compliance administration; knowledge of active substance registrations is required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple obligations and deadlines across several countries.
• Clear, proactive communicator with collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a strong asset.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Labels & Product Compliance: manage and maintain product labels across all relevant countries.
• Coordinate label updates with suppliers, translators, and local teams.
• Ensure labeling is aligned with registrations and GAP tables.
• Third-Party Obligations & Registrations: track and fulfill ongoing obligations tied to third-party agreements.
• Maintain oversight of registrations, renewals, and variations, flag risks in advance.
• Keep registration files updated and well-organized for continuity across contacts.
• Collaborate with Global Product Management to reflect regulatory realities in decisions.
• Inform pricing, launch timing, or portfolio strategy with regulatory input.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: liaise with country teams, consultants, and authorities to keep dossiers current.
• Coordinate with BIOTROP regulatory team on new substances or registrations.
• Work with local Compliance & Registration teams to ensure market alignment on status and labeling.
