Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. in Antwerp seeks an Engineering Quality Assurance (EQA) engineer within the FTK team to uphold the quality of Airtec product development and manufacturing globally. You will review designs, lead DFMEA, and assess approvals across Airtec ranges.

You will investigate field quality issues, drive corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams, and ensure knowledge documents stay up to date. The role offers hybrid work and broad exposure.

Qualifications

• Reviewing and validating product designs on a global scale.
• Leading DFMEA activities for Airtec products.
• Assessing and approving Airtec product applications.
• Investigating root causes of field quality issues and driving actions.
• Coordinating corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
• Prioritizing quality issues by impact on safety and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Reviewing designs of the products on a global scale. This includes scrutinizing the justification for changes (calculations, test, …)
• Participating and leading DFMEA’s
• Assessing application approvals for Airtec products
• Investigating the root cause for field quality issues like failures, excessive fault codes, bad customer perception etc.
• Driving corrective and preventive actions together with product, manufacturing and supplier teams in and outside of Airtec.
• Prioritizing quality issues and actions based on customer impact, safety, reliability and recurrence
• Spokesperson for Airtec in relation to field quality issues
• Keeping the knowledge documents and design manuals up to date
• Evaluating quality deviations in Airtec production
• Training the organization related to the products
• Reporting the quality performance on divisional quality meetings
