Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Antwerp is seeking an Engineering Quality Assurance (EQA) engineer within the FTK team to uphold engineering quality across Airtec product ranges. You will drive DFMEA, review designs, assess approvals and investigate field quality issues to implement robust corrective actions.

You will coordinate with product, manufacturing and supplier teams, keep documentation up to date, and report quality performance at divisional meetings. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering quality assurance for product development.
• Experience with DFMEA processes and design reviews.
• Ability to investigate field quality issues and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Review product designs on a global scale and scrutinize change justifications.
• Participate in and lead DFMEA activities.
• Assess application approvals for Airtec products.
• Investigate root causes of field quality issues and failures.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
• Prioritize quality issues by customer impact and safety.
• Act as spokesperson for Airtec on field quality matters.
• Keep knowledge documents and design manuals up to date.
• Evaluate quality deviations in Airtec production.
• Train the organization on product quality and report performance.
