John Cockerill Energy in Belgium seeks a Calculation Board and Piping Stress Engineer to support energy projects from early design to execution. You will work with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with customer needs, technical requirements and project objectives.

This position combines strong technical expertise with analytical work and coordination across international teams, in a design‑office environment that values accuracy and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Electromechanics, energy specialization preferred.
• Experience in piping stress analysis and engineering calculations.
• Knowledge of piping calculation software, especially Intergraph CAESAR II.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
• Proficiency with standard office tools and technical documentation.
• Experience in a design office environment requiring accuracy and rigor.

Responsabilités

• Perform piping flexibility and stress calculations using Intergraph CAESAR II.
• Carry out engineering calculations for boilers and industrial systems.
• Analyze loads, stresses and boundary conditions; propose solutions.
• Support studies from basic design to detailed engineering, reviewing documents and calculation notes.
• Collaborate with piping, mechanical, process and project teams to ensure consistency.
• Provide technical support during project execution, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.
