John Cockerill Energy seeks a Proposal Engineer to drive technical offers while contributing to process engineering and supporting testing activities. You will interface between commercial, technical and operational teams to ensure robust, competitive solutions aligned with client expectations.

This hybrid role combines technical analysis, engineering calculations, coordination and client interaction within an international environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of experience in process, proposal, or industrial equipment engineering is a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, or fluid systems.
• Ability to perform and understand engineering calculations.

Responsabilités

• Analyze client technical specifications for complex industrial and energy projects.
• Develop technical solutions in collaboration with internal experts (process, mechanical, E&I, etc.).
• Prepare and structure technical offers (equipment, systems, services).
• Define scope of supply and associated services.
• Contribute to cost estimation with internal teams and suppliers.
• Ensure proposals are consistent, high quality and competitive.
