Job summary

prado is seeking a Material Planner to own our material supply and inbound/outbound logistics network across Europe. You will connect our international supplier base with European production and distribution partners, ensuring timely, cost-efficient, and compliant material flow.

The role focuses on calculating material requirements, managing availability, monitoring inventory, tracking inbound pipelines, and coordinating actions with sourcing, production, logistics, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in international logistics or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of material planning concepts such as min-max and safety stock.
• Experience managing international 3PL partners with stock visibility.
• Comfortable working across multiple entities and stakeholders in a fast-growing group.
• Data-driven and structured with strong problem-solving.
• Fluent English; Dutch/French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calculate material requirements from forecasts, BOMs, lead times, stock levels and current orders into accurate component volumes.
• Own the component availability plan to ensure materials are available at the right time for European sites.
• Monitor inventory coverage and shortage risks.
• Track inbound material pipeline from supplier to European warehouse.
• Coordinate mitigation actions with sourcing, production, logistics, and commercial teams.
• Support the group S&O process with material requirements and visibility.
• Optimize inbound flows balancing urgency and cost.
• Own outbound export flows to 3PLs and distribution points outside Europe with proper documentation.
