Hitachi Energy Belgium is seeking an experienced indirect tax professional to join our global tax team. You will shape the indirect tax strategy and lead projects across international contracts and supply‑chain initiatives.

You will drive tax technology adoption (SAP S/4HANA, Vertex), educate teams, and collaborate with global stakeholders. This role requires 5–7 years of experience and a degree in economics, business, finance or law with a fluent English proficiency; willingness to operate

Qualifications

Solid understanding of EU VAT Directive and its practical application.
Willingness and ability to take ownership of project related tasks, including indirect tax compliance optimization.
Fluency in English.

Responsabilités

Support design and execution of effective strategy for future indirect tax function.
Cooperate with various stakeholders for global indirect tax optimization.
Work with tax managers and external advisors globally on complex projects or global contracts.
Maximize the benefit of technology already put in place (S4 Hana and Vertex) as well as explore further tax technology opportunities including scalable adoption of AI solutions.
Be a strong functional lead as a specialist understanding of tax and technology intersections.
Share your expertise with your team and relevant stakeholders to build Company's indirect tax culture.
Identify cross tax functional issues and opportunities and work other streams of tax.
