BESIX Group seeks a Group Internal Auditor to perform a wide range of audit assignments across the Group, with direct exposure to senior management. The role offers opportunities to work in different countries and business environments, coordinating with the Global Head of Internal Audit.

You will join a small, dynamic team and contribute to exercises spanning project, entity, process, and financial audits, with high visibility within the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or another relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in external audit, internal audit, consulting or a similar control function.
• Experience within an industrial, construction or project-based environment is an advantage.
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and have a very good level of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20–25% of your time.

Responsabilités

• Participate and lead internal audit missions, covering international entities, construction projects, financial matters and key business processes.
• Review processes, internal controls and financial information.
• Conduct interviews and analyse relevant documents and data.
• Identify risks, control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Discuss observations with operational and senior management.
• Develop clear, pragmatic and value-adding recommendations.
• Preparation of audit reports and presentations for senior management.
• Follow up the implementation of agreed action plans.
