BESIX Group, a leading Belgian construction and engineering group, seeks a Group Internal Auditor to join a small, dynamic team. You will work on diverse audit missions across the Group with direct exposure to the Global Head of Internal Audit.

Responsibilities include reviewing processes and controls, identifying risks, preparing reports, and following up on actions. The role offers international exposure and travel up to 20–25%, with a strong emphasis on practical, value-adding improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in external/internal audit or similar control function.
• Big Four background is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20–25%.

Responsabilités

• Lead and participate in internal audit missions across the Group.
• Review processes, controls and financial information.
• Interview stakeholders and analyze documents and data.
• Identify risks and recommend pragmatic improvements.
• Prepare audit reports and present to senior management.
• Follow up on action plan implementations.
