Job summary

Sander Brussels in the Machelen area is looking for a GL Accountant to join an international business services group. You will contribute to the accounting of several entities, support monthly and annual closings, and assist with IFRS reporting and audits.

The successful candidate holds a qualification in accounting or finance with at least five years of relevant experience, is fully proficient in Dutch with good French and English, and is skilled in MS Excel and SAP FI.

Qualifications

• Qualification in accounting or finance.
• At least five years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of general accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Contribute to monthly and annual closings for several companies.
• Support monthly IFRS reporting and assist audits.
• Assist the GL Team Leader with accounting and reporting projects.
