Job summary

Zepz is seeking an experienced auditor to join its global fintech team. You will lead end-to-end audits across operations, regulatory, financial and technology domains, delivering risk-based assurance for a cross-border payments business.

The role emphasizes data-driven testing, effective stakeholder engagement, and proactive remediation in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work with global coverage is offered.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of internal or external audit experience, fintech/payments focus preferred.
• Experience leading audit engagements from planning to reporting.
• Strong understanding of risk management and governance.
• Familiarity with PSD2, AML Regulations, FCA Handbook and regulatory frameworks.
• Analytical mindset with evidence-based conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, proactive and independent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver internal audits from planning through reporting and follow-up.
• Assess design/effectiveness of controls across operations, regulatory, financial and tech processes.
• Identify risks, determine root causes and provide practical remediation recommendations.
