Nexeo is looking for a DevOps Engineer (Freelance or permanent) in Belgium. The role involves maintaining and improving operational quality of IT systems, managing incidents, and supporting cloud architecture design.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in continuous improvement/Automation (Jenkins or similar CI systems).
• 3+ years of general understanding of networking standards and technologies.
• Good understanding of premise system monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Database administration (Oracle).
• Knowledge of Weblogic.
• 3+ years experience in Azure/AWS services.
• Practical experience with Git source control and GitHub.
• Understanding of DevOps practices.
• Fluency in English & Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Maintain & improve operational quality of the IT systems in scope.
• Incident & Problem management.
• Implementation of Technical Lifecycle and Security Requirements.
• Prepare and Plan IT Emergency Exercises & Disaster Recovery Exercises.
• Maintain & Update technical documentation.
• Support cloud-based architecture design.
• Support continuous improvement of agile working and mindset.

Connaissances

Continuous improvement/Automation (Jenkins or similar CI systems)

Networking standards and technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, routing, firewall rules)

Premise system monitoring tools

Database administration (Oracle)

Weblogic

Azure/AWS services experience

Git source control and GitHub

DevOps practices

Fluency in English & Dutch
