WLG in Mons, Belgium, is seeking an experienced incident response professional to join its security operations. You will lead triage, containment, and recovery, coordinating with authorities and partners to respond to incidents around the clock.

The role requires at least four years in incident response or related fields, strong security knowledge, and hands-on detection experience in an enterprise setting. Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or GIAC are valued.

Qualifications

• At least four years hands-on incident response, or a directly adjacent field.
• A thorough grasp of computer and communications security, networking, and OS/app weaknesses.
• Recent hands-on intrusion detection and response in an enterprise-scale team, ideally against MITRE ATT&CK.
• At least three years in information and knowledge management, preferably in security.
• Working alongside IT service management.
• Very good communication and analysis, and professional English.
• Vulnerability assessment and scoring — CVSS, SSVC, coordinated disclosure.
• A bachelor's degree in a related discipline with three years of related experience or ten years progressive expertise.

Responsabilités

• Run incident response — triage, containment, eradication, recovery — in normal hours and on occasional call-out.
• Provide technical coordination and support to operating authorities across member and partner nations, NGOs and industry partners.
• Lead or support response teams across locations, including on operations and missions.
• Build and maintain the taxonomy behind the branch's information and the portals on it.
• Design and distribute the reports, briefings and dashboards needed by business owners and security teams.
• Maintain a live network of security peers for urgent coordination.
• Identify and implement improvements to the response process as threats evolve.
• Write SOPs and instructions that cover the full response workflow.
• Serve as the response expert in meetings and incident task forces.
