DEME is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to monitor payments, conduct due diligence and ensure regulatory compliance. You will translate complex regulations into practical guidance for various stakeholders and maintain robust records.

You will collaborate with Finance, Legal and Procurement to strengthen controls, participate in risk assessments and support audits, with a focus on Dutch and English language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a legal, financial or business field.
• Strong analytical abilities with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
• Experience translating regulations into practical business guidance.

Responsabilités

• Monitor payments and transactions for unusual or non-compliant activity.
• Conduct due diligence screenings for customers, suppliers and partners.
• Perform compliance monitoring, reviews and controls documentation.
• Carry out sanctions screening and compare against international lists.
• Support KYC, KYB, AML and CTF processes and risk assessments.
• Investigate alerts and escalate where needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain records of screenings and reviews.
