Job summary

ING Belgium invites interns to join the Corporate Audit Services (CAS) Wholesale and Business Banking BE team. You’ll participate in audits across Wholesale Banking and Business Banking domains, learn end-to-end processes, assess control effectiveness, and work with stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed within audit timelines.

You will develop an independent mindset, professional skepticism, and a solution-oriented approach to mitigate risks.

Exhibits teamwork and collaborative skills.
Shows strong English language communication, both written and spoken.
Proven ability to take initiative and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

Participate in audits across Wholesale Banking and Business Banking domains.
Learn business processes, risks, regulatory requirements and control frameworks.
Assess effectiveness of key controls and risk mitigations.
Engage in walkthroughs, meetings and data analytics activities.
Interact with stakeholders and help set expectations; ensure issues are discussed and agreed.
Develop data analytics skills to improve audit coverage and testing quality.
Summarise findings and prepare supporting evidence for audit reports.
