IQVIA is seeking a General Ledger accountant to ensure accurate inventory and intercompany reporting within a multinational setting. You will reconcile accounts, perform month- and quarter-end close, and support audit files under SOX controls.

Based in Zaventem with a hybrid work pattern (3 days home, 2 days in the office), you will collaborate across departments and leverage SAP or PeopleSoft to maintain compliant financial statements in English, Dutch, and French.

Qualifications

University or Bachelor degree in Finance or related subject area preferred.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Fluent in English, Dutch and French (written and spoken).
Experience with SAP or PeopleSoft is a strong plus.
Strong general accounting skills (statutory and international standards).

Responsabilités

Prepare and review reconciliations on inventory and intercompany accounts.
Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
Execute month- and quarter end closing activities – perform account analysis to ensure entries and balances are correct.
Analyze and interpret financial information to ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with internal departments to gather and interpret financial information.
Enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals and reclassifications into the ledger and prepare reports.
Gather supporting documentation and perform recordkeeping.
Ensure SOX controls are adhered to and performed in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of the audit files and annual accounts.
Preparation & filing of surveys and tax declarations/forms.
